I had my period and a week after it ended I started getting brown stuff coming out?
I had my period and it lasted the normal week. a week after it ended I started having this brown stuff come out. I've been wearing a pad, but it hasn't filled up the pad. It doesnt smell too pleasant, but prolly just the smell of the old blood which I am guessing it is. when I wipe brown stuff is left on the tp, and also stuff comes out into the toilet… when I get turned on and I get wet, I go to the bathroom, and it comes out red, or dark red. looks fresh. I dont understand it, and I dont know if I should see a doctor. It has been over a week now, and is still coming out like it started. It is not heavy like a period in any way though. also a day or 2 before this started I was in a jacuzzi, and we cleaned the tub part, but didnt think about the water that was left inside the jets. a little while after bein in there I noticed white stuff floating and thought its possible to be old sperm from someone else. I didnt think much of it then and had sex in it, so the water got inside. Help
i don't know if it's possible that you're pregnant, but i've had brownish discharge before, it's just never lasted that long

Well, odds are you're probablly not pregnate, but having sex in a hot tub is not a good idea in the first place. There are chemicals in that water and perhaps you've gotten infected. see a doctor about this, despite perhaps having an extended period, it should not last that long, get a check up. you only get one body, keep it healthy.

Okay, now a real serious answer for you. It will first require you to see your doctor. What is most likely happening, is that you didn't and are not going to ovulate. your progesterone level is too low and that brings on the bleeding. you said it started a week after you finished your week long period, right? your doctor will probably prescribe you a progesterone pill such as Provera (just to name one). This is a 10 day regimen. This is done to stop the current bleeding and to reset your cycle. you should have your next period shortly after you stop the Provera and hopefully, that cycle should be normal. This can be just a fluke or due to a problem with your thyroid or pituitary gland. I am assuming that you are not on any chemical birth control. If you are, then this would not apply to you since the hormones in the pill regulate your cycle.
I don't think that it is related to the hot tub, but those are not the most hygenic things in the first place. especially with people having sex in them. you don't know how well those are cleaned if at all.

Its totally normal. Its just discharge, its the vagina cleaning out left over dried blood. Its brown because thats the color of dry blood.
